Articles that do not comply with either the re-quirements are sent back for revision at the stage of submission. Before submitting an article please read the editorial ethics and the reviewing rules of articles

Manuscripts submitted to the journal "Kazan state University of culture and arts bulletin", are taken for the expertise and reviewed.


The manuscript layout

At the beginning of the article there should be the initials and surname of the author (in Russian and English languages, academic title and degree, position, full name of research institution where the studies or investigations took place (in Russian and English languages), the title of the article (in Russian and English languages), abstract in Russian and English languages (no less than 1700 characters in Russian and 250 words in English), key words (5-7) in Russian and English languages. This information is followed by the text of the article and bibliographical list.

The volume of articles - not less than 25 thousand characters (with spaces). Large materials can be published in several issues of the journal.


The layout of the article

The articles are published in Russian, English and Tatar languages. Names of the foreign institutions are given in the text without quotation marks in Latin letters. After mentioning in the text the names of foreign scientists, heads of institutions, etc. in Russian language, the name and surname are given in Latin letters in parentheses.

All abbreviations should be fully decoded, except for international abbreviations and terms. Information on grants and Acknowledgements is reproduced as a footnote at the bottom of the first page of the article.

It is not allowed:

  • spaces and tabs to specify the indent ("red line") and alignment the text other than left-aligned or the middle;
  • hyphenation;
  • endnotes.

There should not be double spaces and double paragraphs (blank lines) in the text.


Links and references

References should include not less than 20, but not more than 40 references.

Sources are given in alphabetical order. First come the sources in Russian, then in other languages. The list is bates-stamped.

Links to electronic publications on the Internet are allowed only on official resources, which are registered in the Russian committee of vigilance with all the data given.

References to literary sources in the text are given in parentheses with the name of the author and year of publication (e.g., (Vygotsky, 1982). When quoting, you should put a page number (Vygotsky, 1982, p.47).

Tables, graphs, pictures

Tables, pictures, diagrams in the text should be numbered and titled.

Duplication of graphs by the text, tables and pictures are not allowed; the text needs to add new information (explanation, commentary, synthesis) to illustrative material.

Graphs can be drawn in MS Excel. In the diagrams made in MS Excel you must provide the source data file. The information contained in the tables and charts must be carefully checked. The author is responsible for providing the correct data.

Drawings and diagrams can be made in the graphic editors, and should be editable. Pictures should be presented in the formats like .jpeg (quality score is below 8) or .tiff (resolution at least 300 dpi with no comp-ression).

Graphs, tables and pictures as well as photographs that do not meet the printing quality will be returned to the authors for replacement.


Information on the authors

Information on the authors is presented in a separate file which should contain:

  • full surname, first name and patronymic,
  • scientific degree and academic titles,
  • position,
  • working place,
  • e-mail address
  • personal web site or the website of the organization he is presenting,
  • phone and mail address (only for contacts with the author, not for publication).

The editorial Board reserves the right to edit articles aimed at giving them a concise, clear presentation of material and its accordance with the layout of the journal. From the perspective of the scientific content, the author's idea is fully preserved; everything that may affect the terminology or the meaning of the text at the stage of revision of the text is consulted with the author.
